The Calvert Street Investment Partners Fellowship Program was established in 2019 to help make careers in finance more accessible to local college students from diverse backgrounds.

Overview
The Fellowship Program is a 12-week curriculum designed for college students in the Baltimore area to strengthen their candidacy for competitive internships and long-term careers in finance. Through its partnership with Adventis, Calvert Street provides mentorship, professional development, and hands-on learning opportunities tailored to each Fellow.
Participants engage in one-on-one mentorship with Calvert Street investment professionals, gaining valuable industry insight, technical skills, and exposure to real-world investment practices. Since its inception in 2019, the Fellowship Program has supported more than 30 college students.
Primary Responsibilities
Fellows are expected to actively engage in the program through the following responsibilities:
- Meet individually with a dedicated Calvert Street mentor at the firm’s office to review the program and establish expectations
- Participate in monthly, in-person mentor meetings to review financial modeling progress while also focusing on developing interpersonal and professional workplace skills
- Expand industry knowledge through case studies and increased exposure to peers, investment professionals, and the broader finance community
- Successfully complete the Adventis Level I Financial Modeling Certificate Program
